The Minden Times is an award-winning weekly newspaper located along the Highway 35 corridor in Ontario’s picturesque cottage country. Beginning as the Minden Progress in 1963, the paper adopted the Times moniker in the 1970s and today is owned by White Pine Media, along with its sister publication, the Haliburton Echo.
Focusing on the townships of Minden Hills and Algonquin Highlands, the paper covers local politics, sports, culture, health, environment and business news. With a lively opinion section, the Times has been consistently voted one of the top-three papers in its circulation class by the Ontario Community Newspaper Association.
