Three impaired driving charges in three daysP { margin-bottom: 0.21cm; }

Haliburton Highlands OPP laid threeimpaired driving charges in just more than three days between April23 and 26.

According to a release on April 23 atapproximately 6 p.m. officers observed a black pickup trucktravelling in an erratic fashion and then running a red light at theintersection of highways 35 and 118 in Carnarvon.

A roadside screening test was performedand a 23-year-old Algonquin Highlands man was arrested andtrasnported to the OPP detachment in Minden.

He is charged with dangerous operationof a motor vehicle and driving with more than 80 milligrams ofalcohol in his blood.

A few hours later around 9:30 p.m. onApril 23 an SUV was stopped at a RIDE program along Bobcaygeon Roadnear McKnight Street in Minden. A 53-year-old Minden Hills man wascharged with driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in hisblood and failure to produce an insurance card.

Then just before 2 p.m. on April 26OPP officers were called to a single-vehicle crash along County Road503 in Minden Hills.

A 41-year-old Minden woman was chargedwith impaired driving driving with more than 80 milligrams ofalcohol in her blood and failing to surrender a permit.

The accused will all go to court inMinden.
