A Toronto man wanted by police for possession of child pornography has been found dead in Haliburton County.

Darren Padilla 47 also known as Darren Laite was found by Ontario Provincial Police in the county on Monday March 7 at 9:30 a.m.

On March 3 Toronto police had executed a search warrant at Padilla's home and alleged he had child sexual abuse images and videos on his computer.

Multiple Toronto media outlets say Padilla was a Toronto Transit Commission employee.

According to the Toronto police his death is not considered suspicious.
