Boshkung Brewing Co. has done it again.
The Carnarvon-based brewery picked up a couple of awards at the Ontario Brewing Awards in September bringing a silver for its North Country Kellerbier and bronze for its Campfire Rye Ale back to the county.
“We are thrilled with the awards” owner Terri Mathews-Carl told the paper. “The award-winning Campfire Rye will be available in the LCBO November through February as a winter seasonal.”
The trophies bring the brewery’s awards total to six.
Mathews-Carl said the brewery is working on an expansion of a second brewhouse at its Minden location – the former Beer Store on Water Street now known as Boshkung Social – where residents will finally be able to purchase beer to go.
“We are so grateful for our support locally and throughout Ontario” she said.
Boshkung Brewing is sold in numerous LCBOs Beer Stores and grocery stores in the province and served at numerous bars and restaurants.
