A single-vehicle collision on Highway118 claimed the life of a 59-year-old man on the morning ofWednesday July 15 OPP are reporting.

According to press release from theHaliburton Highlands OPP detachment police attended the scene westof Big East Lake in Minden Hills at approximately 10:30 a.m. and theman was pronounced dead on site. According to police his westboundvehicle had travelled over a guardrail and then rolled over.

The man's identity is being withheldpending notification of next of kin.
