The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit wants to know how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting you.
The health unit has released a survey it is asking residents of Haliburton County, Northumberland County and the City of Kawartha Lakes who are 18 years or older to fill out. The online survey takes about 15 to 20 minutes to complete, and is designed to be completed in one sitting. It will be available until early December.
Confidential and anonymous, the survey asks residents about how the pandemic is impacting their physical, emotional and mental health, as well as their attitudes about safety protocols and whether they practise them, etc.
“We know COVID-19 is having an impact on people in the tri-county area, but how much of an impact, where, and who is being particularly affected is harder to gauge,” Andrew Harris, an epidemiologist with the health unit said in a release. “This survey is designed to paint a clearer picture of how COVID-19 is affecting our communities so that the health unit can be better informed and able to more effectively respond to pandemic challenges and concerns.”
