A 29-year-old Minden man has beenairlifted to hospital in Toronto with serious injuries after gettingpinned between a truck and a trailer.

Just before 4 p.m. on Thursday Jan. 7Haliburton Highlands OPP were called to Riverview Furniture indowntown Minden where the man who'd been picking up furniture with a28-year-old female companion had been struck.

According to police the man wasstanding on a set of stairs leading to a storage trailer while hedirected the woman who was reversing in a pickup truck.

The man was struck by the truckpinning him between it and the trailer.

OPP say the investigation iscontinuing.
