Where and how to vote
Paper ballot (in-person) voting
Eligible voters can visit the upper level of the S.G Nesbitt Memorial Arena and Minden Community Centre on Monday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. to cast their paper ballot vote.
Online and telephone voting
Eligible voters can also choose to vote online or by telephone at anytime until the end of Election Day, Oct. 24, ending at 8 p.m. Please use your Voter Information Letter, which you received by mail, to vote online or by telephone.
An internet voting station is currently available at the Minden Hills Administration Office, located at 7 Milne Street, Minden, during regular business hours, excluding Election Day.
An internet voting station will be available on Election Day at the S.G Nesbitt Memorial Arena and Minden Community Centre. Telephone voting is not available at these locations.
Help is available
The election staff at the Minden Hills Administration Office are available Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.:
- If you need to be added to the Voters List
- If you have questions about your Voter Information Letter
- If you would like to vote online using the internet voting station
If you need assistance on Election Day, please visit the S.G Nesbitt Memorial Arena and Minden Community Centre between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Come prepared
When coming to vote by internet or in person, please bring your Voter Information Letter and one piece of ID that has your name and address on it. Any identification listed on the Province of Ontario’ acceptable document list for voter identification will be accepted.
Election day results
The Polls will close at 8 p.m. on Election Day, Monday Oct. 24. Votes will then be tallied and the unofficial results will be posted in the lower lobby of the S.G Nesbitt Memorial Arena and on the Minden Hills corporate website at www.mindenhills.ca. The clerk will declare and post the official results on the Minden Hills corporate website at www.mindenhills.ca as soon as possible after voting day.
