Haliburton Highlands OPP are asking for the public's help in identifying a driver who failed to remain at the scene of a collision in Algonquin Highlands.
Police responded to the collision on Hwy 118 just east of Carnarvon shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 5.
According to an OPP press release issued Sept. 6 “a westbound motorcycle was struck by an eastbound car that crossed the centre line. The motorcyclist was hit in the hand with the mirror of the car. The eastbound car failed to remain at the scene of the collision. The motorcyclist was treated at an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.”
The suspect vehicle is a dark-coloured Dodge or Chrysler vehicle with damage to the driver's mirror.
