Province announces improvement projects for Hwy. 35

The provincial government is spending money to improve road conditions on Highway 35, MPP Laurie Scott announced last week.
Money
is coming from the Ministry of Transportation and will include culvert
upgrades and rehabilitation of the Gull River bridge in Moore Falls.
A
press release from the MPP’s office notes that the projects will create
construction jobs and will keep highways reliable and safe.
Thirty
projects in the eastern region of the province are going to tender with
a combined value of $195 million. Across the province there are 123
rehabilitation projects.
“This
transportation infrastructure investment will improve road safety while
creating good construction jobs in our riding and across the province,”
said Scott in the press release.
