Wall Flower Studio is moving from one end of Minden’s main drag to the other the shop re-opening at its new location at 102 Bobcaygeon Road on Thursday June 29.
The storefront located at the the intersection of Bobcaygeon Road and Newcastle Street beside Up River Trading Co. was most recently the home of Highlands Studio and Ink Works tattoo shop.
With the relocation proprietor Karen Sloan is expanding her plant inventory with a focus on indoor plants.
“I’m really promoting the products that work” says Sloan an artist who has branched into garden design. Within the last year or so she’s also expanded into gift basket deliveries.
Staples such as terrariums were being set up in the new space earlier this week. Sloan gives terrarium workshops which the new building will allow her to host in-house.
Selling “concoctions confections and botanicals” Wall Flower Studio also features a variety of skin care and apothecary products.
Since it opened three years ago Wall Flower Studio had been located in the Grill by the Gull building near the bridge.
A grand re-opening celebration was scheduled at the new location from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 29.
