How do you plan for the future when your own parents don’t believe you have one?

Wolf’s mother is obsessed with saving the bees. But when she announces that she’s taking her Save the Bees show on the road and her whole family with it Wolf’s life and the lives of his half-sisters and stepsister are turned upside down. His stepsister doesn’t want to leave her boyfriend one of his half-sisters has stopped speaking altogether and Wolf likes his alternative school and doesn’t want to miss weeks of classes. But how does he convince his mother that wearing an embarrassing bee costume and traveling across the province in a beat up Ford panel van may not be the best idea she’s ever had – for them or the bees?
